Installation

To install the PixaCMS Script, your system must have set up of Laravel. If you are new to this then please check the section on How to Set Up Laravel on your system.

How To Set Up Laravel on your server.

Before starting please make sure that your system fulfill the following server requirements for set up

1) Required PHP Version : PHP >= 8.1

2) PHP configuration : Open your php configuration file php.ini and change the following settings.

  • max_execution_time = 30000
  • max_input_time = 30000
  • memory_limit = 512M
  • post_max_size=100M
  • Upload_max_filesize = 128M

3) Make sure to all extensions are available.

  • extension=curl
  • extension=fileinfo
  • extension=gd
  • extension=gettext
  • extension=intl
  • extension=mbstring
  • extension=exif
  • extension=mysqli
  • extension=pdo_mysql
  • extension=pdo_sqlite
  • extension=zip

4)Folder Permission : Please check folder permission meets the mentioned requirements.

  • .env : 644
  • bootstrap/ : 755
  • bootstrap/cache/ : 755
  • storage/ : 755
  • storage/logs/ : 755
  • storage/framework/: 755

Step 1 - Download executable file of composer. You can download it from the home page of composer.

Step 2 - Launch the exe file you downloaded.

Step 3 - Follow the setup wizard and proceed with the installation.

Step 4 - After the successfull installation open the command prompt and enter a command composer you will get this result.

How to Setup Admin Panel

  • After extracting the zip file you recieved from Codecanyon you will get these folders
    1. PixaCMS
    2. Documentation
    3. Database

  • Admin code contains all the files that you will have to place on the root folder or in the folder where you want to install this.

  • Create a database in the server, and import the pixacms.sql file.

  • Open env file in the root folder and put database credentials i.e. database name, user and password.

  • After that type the domain-name/folder-name on browser's address bar, like : http://domain-name.com/folder-name and you will get home page of website. (In this step you won't get images on the frontend site)

  • Then to get the images in the website enter the storage-link after the folder name in the URL. For example the URL will be like this http://domain-name.com/folder-name/storage-link/

  • Note : Please carefully follow these instructions

    1. If you installed the script on localhost under the folder named pixacms then URL will be like this : http://localhost/pixacms/storage-link

    2. You need to hit this URL only once.

  • Now admin can login using these details:
    • URL : https://domain-name.com/folder_name/admin
    • Email : admin@gmail.com
    • Password : Admin@123

Admin Dashboard

Admin Dashboard comes with the various backend settings to flexibly appearance and operation of the website as well as can manage Pages, Category, Blog, Language and many more.


Dashboard

Dashboard settings contains the counts of Total Blogs, Services, Contacted Users and can manage the pages.

Pages

Admin can manage pages through this setting and can also add new page. Admin can delete pages except the header and footer page.

Setting

With this admin can customize Page Name, slug, meta title, meta keywords, sub description, header script, and footer script.

Edit Page Builder

On clicking the Edit Page Builder option, editor will appear. You can copy, delete the sections and can simply drag and drop a section to append a new section.

You can also customize the text. Select the text inside the eeditor, you will get settings to change it.

To change image, select image, you will see settings to change image. You can also upload image through Pixabay and Unsplash.

Category Management

Admin can edit, delete or add new categories for blogs, services, pricing plan, and gallery.

Add Category

Click on Add new button to add category. Enter name, slug, select category type (Blogs, Services, Pricing Plan, and Gallery), status (Publish, Draft), and choose category image.

Admin can edit, view, delete existing blogs and can add new blog.

Website Settings

Admin can customize Site Name , Site Images and PixaBay/Unsplash key setting.

With Site Image setting you can change site identity images like Site logo, favicon, preloader, white logo, social share preview image, Data not found image, 404 image, and site mini logo.

As the name suggests, with this setting you can add the SMTP details, basic email details, customize content of registration, forget password, and add new user template.
